I cannot look up to the stars
I cannot see them burning when I know
that they may all seem so together
But they are far far apart
every day every night every moment
I cannot look up to them when I know
you won’t be there beside me
to say by what names they are called

Don’t you see how destiny
plays a game of irony
oh the stars bringing us together
were cold and lonely forever
